Fire tongues of sunset Explode through cracks in the storm Mists flee Golden Gate

Eucalyptus scent Wafts through the air after rain The world is magic

Today ushered in By a midnight rendezvous Of skunk and doomed dog

Gray days highlight sound Trains moan, hummingbirds chatter, Crows my metronome

Post rain, streets glisten, Water rushes through gutters, Freshness. My eyes smile.
